Common Framework for eGovernment Research Programmes
The objective of this workpackage is to agree on a common vision for eGovernment Research involving the European, National and Regional levels. It will prioritize research topics for European researchers to tackle and it will develop a foundation for an European eGovernment Research Pprogramme Framework. A number of workshops and expert hearings will be arranged across Europe to get input from different national perspective. The workpackage will end with an expert hearing where the proposed framework will be presented and discussed at EU level.
Some success factors are:
- Good geographical coverage - EU and EEA countries (current and new accession countries)
- Participation from all levels of eGovernment research from funding agencies to researchers
- Foundation for an acceptance of terms and description of eGovernment research
There are two tasks in this work package
- Arrange workshops and expert hearings
- Coordination of eGovernment Research work and topics
This work package is lead by the Research Council of Norway (RCN).
